GAMM Student Chapter

We are a group of doctoral candidates and master’s students from applied mathematics, mechanics, and all other disciplines represented in GAMM. We meet regularly for professional and informal exchange, hold workshops, and learn together. Of course, fun is not neglected either. Usually, the evenings end with a shared dinner or a relaxed drink in front of the AKK.

We are a student chapter of GAMM, Gesellschaft für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, which encourages the foundation of student chapters at universities under the supervision of local GAMM representatives. The student chapter at KIT was founded in february 2020 to serve as a networking platform for students and docotral students of all disciplines represented in GAMM. The goal is to encourage networking and to establish scientific disourse among members.
